OVERVIEW:

At Dealers United, we help automotive dealers and dealer groups activate and optimize social media advertising at a single location or at scale. 

The role of a Performance Manager is to proactively increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. This is accomplished by managing the customer life cycle, ensuring both interactions and performance meet customer needs.  The Dealers United Performance Manager will organize, plan and provide strategic consultations to dealer partners to drive customer retention and growth.  You will work closely with our dealer partners to understand their challenges and help them accomplish their goals.  You will report to the Director of Customer Experience and work cross-functionally with the Sales, Marketing and Ad Operations Teams to create and aid in revenue growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Support the Sales team as needed for prospect demos and presentations
  2. Strategize and prepare an initial success plan for new clients
  3. Execute the initial “Kickoff Call”  with clients to review success plan and establish key points as well as cadence of communication 
  4. Establish and measure key performance metrics in line with company goals
  5. Prepare monthly sales and performance reports
  6. Increase the perceived value to the client by constantly bringing new ideas, solving for their pain points
  7. Communicate results and successes to our clients on a regular basis
  8. Understand each client’s specific goals and Key Performance Indicators
  9. Establish strong, long-term client relationships and increase company-wide retention
  10. Identify key growth opportunities within accounts to help build and increase our Customers’ Lifetime Value
  11. Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  12. Handle complaints and problems in a timely and effective manner
  13. Act as the liaison between key clients and internal teams
  14. Continuously monitor and audit performance vs. SOE in our Dashboard
  15. Work closely with the DU Sales, Marketing and Ad Operations Teams
  16. Ensure internal and delegated tasks are being delivered on-time and as expected by client

IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
  2. Automotive Experience with OEM dealers 
  3. Previous Account / Performance Management Experience 
  4. Ability to address client requests and issues in a timely manner
  5. Superb task management skills
  6. Willingness to problem-solve, optimize processes, and make decisions on your own
  7. Understanding of digital advertising solutions and strategies, such as Google Analytics, Google AdWords, SEO, PPC, Facebook Advertising, and/or Tier III automotive metrics
  8. Ability to quickly adapt to the ever changing world of digital marketing and advertising
  9. Ability to understand, produce, and communicate reports and metrics
  10. Goal-driven and self-motivated team player with a passion for learning
