Sales Development Representative (SDR)

A Lead-Driven, Motivated Team Player To Help Boost Revenue


Dealers United Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) are responsible for identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities in target accounts for their regional Dealer Partnership Managers through using effective communication methods, with the overarching goal of coordinating conversations and increasing revenue.


    • Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads & inquiries
    • Effectively partner and work across the sales & marketing teams
    • Work closely with Dealers United teams to develop account intelligence and use case opportunities through direct account engagement
    • Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team
    • Hold intelligent and engaging conversations over the phone and email
    • Be responsible for educating and developing prospects leading to hand-off to sales teams
    • Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts
    • Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads & inquiries
    • Set appointments for Dealers United sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
    • Identify key players, research, and obtain business requirements to begin sales cycle
    • Nurture new marketing leads by educating and developing prospects until they are ready to speak with a Dealers United sales team member
    • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approaches
    • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification in Hubspot CRM


    • 1+ years of inside sales or business development related experience (preferred)
    • Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team
    • Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to deal with rejection
    • Create target prospect lists and penetrate key accounts
    • Strong oral and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
    • Ability to develop rapport, influence others, and maintain strong relationships
    • Must be self-motivated, persistent, and able to work independently
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a distributed sales team
    • Drive, Grit, Team Oriented: strong desire to compete and win

This is a full-time position open to anyone located in the US and does not require relocation.  We’re a fully remote organization as a result of the pandemic and have grown with both remote and in-office employees for years so our culture is highly tuned towards remote working.

Base salary + commission.
